Our Membership Offering

From the 2026 season, Swimrun Monaco offers two membership options, both including federated licenses and comprehensive insurance coverage.

Membership Options

​​Competition Membership - € 180

​​

Designed for athletes who wish to compete in official swimrun or triathlon events.

​

Includes:

  • French Triathlon Federation (FFTRI) Competition Licence

  • Monegasque Triathlon Federation (FMTRI) License

  • Full insurance coverage​

  • Club membership & benefits

  • Triathlon Federation affiliation (both France & Monaco)

Leisure Membership - € 128

​​

Ideal for athletes who train regularly but do not wish to compete.

​

Includes:

  • FFTRI Leisure Licence

  • FMTRI License

  • Full insurance coverage​

  • Club membership & benefits

  • Triathlon Federation affiliation (both France & Monaco)

 

The only difference between the two memberships is competition eligibility. Leisure members are not authorised to participate in FFTRI competitions.

How to Join Swimrun Monaco

​​Step 1 – Choose your membership

Members with pre-existing licences from other clubs do not pay the licence fee twice.

Step 2 - Create Your FFTRI Account

​​

Create an account on the FFTRI platform, select Swimrun Monaco as your club and

please select your license type.

​​Step 3 – Prepare Your Documents

You will need:

  • Completed FFTRI licence application (remember to fill & sign the 2nd page!)

  • FFTRI Health Questionnaire 

  • Passport-style photo (new members only)

  • A copy of your ID (passport or national identity card).

Step 4 – Complete Swimrun Monaco Membership Form

& Submit Payment

​

You'll find details for submitting your payment on the form. Payment can be made by: Bank transfer or Carlo.

If paying via Carlo, please add the Financial Charges per transaction of €0.20  and then 2% is applied on the total transaction amount

Professional Training

  • Weekly track training on Monaco’s iconic 9-lane, 400m athletics track at Stade Louis II — home of the world-renowned *Herculis meeting since 1987

  • Weekly pool sessions, all led by head coach Mehdi Zioani:

    • Winter: Indoor training at the Centre Nautique Prince Albert II (50m pool), which hosts the Meeting International de Natation de Monte-Carlo each year

    • Summer: Outdoor sessions at the Stade Nautique Rainier III, Monaco’s Olympic-size 50m seawater pool

  • All led by professional coach Mehdi Zioani in partnership with Monte Carlo Triathlon. See Our Team page for more details

Insurance

  • All Swimrun Monaco members are covered by federation-recognised insurance included with their FFTRI licence.

  • What is included by default:

  • Your licence includes F1 insurance coverage, which provides:

    • Civil liability insurance
      Covers bodily injury or material damage caused to third parties during training, events, or official club activities.

    • Personal accident insurance
      Covers the member in case of injury occurring during authorised training sessions, competitions (for Competition members), and club activities.

  • Optional Insurance Upgrades: Members may choose to upgrade their insurance coverage directly via their FFTRI account:

    • F2 – Enhanced personal accident cover

    • F3 – Extended coverage with higher compensation limits

  • These upgrades are optional and selected individually during licence registration.

Guided Swimrun Outings

Led by our team of Swimrun Outing Leaders, we offer regular group outings across all levels:

  • Newbie Outings

    • Total distance under 8 km, with swim sections up to 250 meters each.

  • Beginner Outings

    • Total distance up to and around 10 km, with swim sections up to 300 meters each.

  • Intermediate Outings

    • Total distance between 10 and 20 km, with swim sections around 500 meters.

  • Advanced Outings

    • Total distance over 20 km or swim sections longer than 750 meters.

  • Swimrun Treasure Hunt Experiences for Children

Local adventures and destination outings to extraordinary nearby locations such as:
